This notice explains the personal data Maratha Manch uses to provide its matrimonial service, why we use it, and the choices available to you. Read it with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before you register or use the platform.

Data we use to provide the service

We use account details such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, and login information to create and protect your account. We also use the profile, preference, community, location, family, lifestyle, and horoscope details you choose to provide to present your profile and support relevant introductions.

Verification, media, and interactions

We process photos, video biodata, and verification information you submit. We also process account activity, member interactions, support requests, blocks, and safety-related records to operate features, protect members, investigate misuse, and maintain the integrity of the platform.

Membership and technical information

When you purchase a membership, we use information about the plan, payment status, transaction references, and invoices to provide the purchased features and maintain required records. We also use device, browser, log, and usage information to secure the service, prevent abuse, and understand how it is used.

Required and optional processing

Some processing is necessary to create your account, display the profile information you choose to share, provide requested features, process payments, and keep the service safe. Other processing is optional. You can manage optional consent categories, including marketing, analytics, personalised recommendations, notifications, and profile-visibility processing, from Settings > Privacy.

Your consent choices

When you register, you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; we record that acceptance. You can grant or withdraw optional consent at any time in Settings > Privacy. Withdrawal applies to future optional processing and does not affect processing already completed or processing we are required to continue for legal, security, or financial reasons.

Your data rights

You can update inaccurate profile information, request a machine-readable export of your data, or request account deletion from Settings. A deletion request hides your profile and signs you out. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, financial records, security, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
