Community Guidelines

The behaviours that help members make respectful, genuine, and safer matrimonial connections.

Maratha Manch is for adults seeking matrimonial introductions. These guidelines help keep the community honest, respectful, and safe. They apply alongside our Terms of Service.

Be genuine

Create one profile for yourself, use accurate information, and use photos that represent you. Do not impersonate another person, create duplicate accounts, misrepresent your marital status or intentions, or use the service on behalf of someone without their authority.

Treat people with respect

Communicate with courtesy and respect another member's decision to decline interest or stop communicating. Harassment, threats, abusive or obscene language, hate speech, discrimination, unwanted sexual content, and any form of exploitation are not permitted.

Use member information only for genuine matrimonial communication. Do not share another person's profile, photos, contact details, messages, screenshots, or personal information without their permission. Do not pressure a member to move a conversation off-platform or to share information they do not want to provide.

Keep interactions safe

Never ask another member for money, banking details, passwords, one-time codes, identity documents, or financial assistance. Do not use the platform for fraud, scams, spam, advertising, prostitution, extramarital arrangements, or illegal activity. If you choose to meet, do so in a safe public place and tell someone you trust.

Protect minors

Maratha Manch is only for adults aged 18 and over. Creating a profile for a minor, sharing content involving a minor, or attempting to contact a minor through the service is strictly prohibited.

When you need distance or help

You can block a verified member to stop profile viewing, interests, and messages between you. If you believe an account or interaction breaches these guidelines, signed-in members can submit the details through Feedback. Include only the information needed to review the concern and do not share highly sensitive information unnecessarily.

How we respond

We may investigate concerns and take action that is appropriate to protect members, enforce our Terms, or comply with law. This may include limiting or suspending access. Serious or unlawful conduct may be referred to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

Your safety matters

Verification and platform safeguards reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Use your judgement, verify important details independently, and seek immediate local help if you believe you are in danger.
